Ocean

Enclosed in it's embrace.
Wrapped up, cold but safe.
Then it whisks me away, taking me on an adventure,
dropping me off at different places so I can see the world.


From the shore it sparkles,
like your eyes when you look at me.
It changes as often as myself,
but you can always find it on the edge of the world.

It's always reaching a little bit further,
reaching and never giving up.
It's something I could learn from.
Maybe it's reaching for me.
